Chithra Looms

Handloom sarees and regional weaving traditions form the core of this Chennai-based collection. Founded in 2016, Chithra Looms curates handwoven Kanjivaram silk sarees alongside distinctive weaves from different parts of India. The business states that it works closely with skilled weavers and that its Kanjivaram silks use pure zari, with an emphasis on traditional designs and craftsmanship.

Kanjivaram collections

The selection covers several established Kanjivaram styles, giving customers options across borders, checks, colours and weaving details. Listed collections include classic, bridal, borderless, Korvai, Kattams and Vairaoosi Kanjivarams.
