Eagle River High School

Eagle River High School was opened in 2005. The school building, an award winning design by USKH, sits nestled between Eagle River and the Chugach Mountain Range. Eagle River High School is the smallest comprehensive high school in the Anchorage School District. Home to around 850 students and 50 staff members, Eagle River High offers a full range, of sports, activities, music, art, and advanced placement classes. We pride ourselves on the intimate feel of our school and strong relationships that exist between students, staff, and the community as a whole. The students and staff of Eagle River strive for excellence in all areas, but none more so than academics. We have received high marks both for our graduation rate and the number of our students who go on to higher education.
