Information from other sources

We may receive information from listing owners, users, sellers, payment providers, delivery partners, analytics or advertising providers, publicly available business websites, public registers, social profiles used for business purposes and other lawful sources. Public availability does not remove privacy rights. Businesses and individuals may request correction or removal as described below.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • operate, secure, maintain and improve the Platform;
  • create, publish, classify, update and verify business listings and classifieds;

  • detect spam, abuse, infringement, fraudulent claims, prohibited products and security incidents;
  • enforce our Terms, resolve complaints and protect users, ClasiCloud and third parties; and
  • comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, law-enforcement and other legal obligations.

3. Legal Grounds

Depending on the applicable law and context, we process information with consent, to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps, to comply with legal obligations, for permitted legitimate or lawful uses, and to protect rights, safety and Platform security. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it, but withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed.

4. Public Listings, Articles and Marketplace Information

Business listings, classifieds, advertisements, seller profiles, product details, reviews, published articles, author names and biographies, tags, featured images, approved links and contact information submitted for publication may be visible publicly and indexed by search engines. Sponsored or partner material may also display a disclosure label. Do not publish personal or confidential information that is unnecessary for the business or publication purpose.

Unclaimed listings may contain basic business information obtained from users or lawful public sources. A business or affected individual can ask us to correct, restrict or remove inaccurate or inappropriate information without purchasing a paid plan.

5. How We Share Information

We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to:

  • buyers, sellers and listing owners: to process enquiries, orders, delivery, returns and customer support;
  • service providers: hosting, security, email, analytics, advertising, recruitment, customer support, payment and technical service providers acting for us;
  • payment and delivery partners: to authorise payment, prevent fraud, ship products and provide tracking;
  • professional advisers: accountants, auditors, insurers and legal advisers subject to appropriate duties;
  • authorities and affected parties: when required by law, court order or valid process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, infringement, safety risks or legal claims; and
  • business successors: in connection with a merger, reorganisation, financing or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable safeguards.

Marketplace sellers may independently determine how they process information received to fulfil an order and must provide any privacy information required by law. We do not sell personal information as a standalone commodity.

6. Career Applications

Career applications and resumes are used to assess suitability, verify application information, communicate with candidates, arrange interviews and maintain recruitment records. They are available only to authorised staff and service providers with a recruitment need. Unless a longer period is required by law, needed for a dispute, or you consent to consideration for future roles, unsuccessful-candidate records will be deleted or anonymised when no longer reasonably necessary.

7. Payments

Payments may be handled by third-party payment providers. ClasiCloud generally receives transaction identifiers, status, billing details and limited payment information needed for reconciliation and support, rather than complete card or banking credentials. Payment providers process information under their own policies and legal obligations.

8. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar storage to operate secure sessions, prevent abuse, process forms and remember your privacy choices. These technologies are required for the service and cannot be disabled through our consent panel.

We keep a server-side history of submitted privacy choices, including a random browser identifier, receipt identifier, server receipt time, browser-reported choice time, categories accepted or rejected, the action selected, page path (without query parameters), browser type, language, IP address, approximate country, region and city where available from server-side IP lookup, and copies of the consent notice and policy. IP-based location may be inaccurate, particularly when using VPNs, proxies or mobile networks; it is not GPS location or proof of identity. These records help us demonstrate and investigate how choices were recorded. The browser identifier is stored in a first-party cookie for up to 180 days. Opening Customize alone does not grant consent; choices are recorded when you select Accept all, Reject optional or Save choices. Records are retained only as reasonably necessary for accountability, applicable obligations and disputes, as described below.

Google Analytics is always enabled for traffic and usage measurement, including before a choice is submitted. It is mandatory in our site configuration and cannot be disabled through the privacy panel. Our records distinguish this configured analytics setting from your consent to optional advertising.

We also record listing-page interactions, such as clicks on phone, email, website, directions, sharing and other action controls, to measure listing engagement. These records contain the listing identifier, action category, control identifier, page path and server time; they do not include form contents or contact-link destinations.

With your consent, we may also use the following optional category:

  • Advertising: Google AdSense may deliver, measure and personalise advertising.

Google advertising scripts are blocked until you grant advertising consent. Our Google Consent Mode v2 analytics storage signal is granted by default; advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation default to denied. Reject optional disables optional advertising and leaves Google Analytics enabled.

Your choice is saved in first-party browser storage and a first-party consent cookie for up to 180 days, unless you clear it or change it sooner. Select in the footer at any time to review, change or withdraw consent. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. You can also clear cookies through your browser.

Google may process device, browser, IP-address, page and advertising interaction information as an independent provider under its own privacy terms, potentially in countries outside your own. Applicable transfer safeguards are described by Google. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy.

9. Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from promotional email through the link in the message or by contacting us. Transactional, security and legally required communications may continue while relevant. Sellers must not use buyer information for unrelated marketing without a valid legal basis.

10. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining active listings, articles, advertisements and accounts, administering applications and campaigns, completing orders, providing support, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and meeting legal, tax, accounting and enforcement obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable law. We may retain limited evidence of editorial decisions, complaints, consent, transactions, removals and enforcement actions after account, listing, article or campaign deletion.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including access restrictions, secure transmission where supported, monitoring and backups. No internet service is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and should notify us promptly of suspected misuse.

12. International Processing

Users, sellers and service providers, including Google for analytics and consented advertising, may operate in different countries. Information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, we use adequacy decisions, contractual, organisational or other lawful safeguards for international transfers. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

13. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

  • information about or access to personal information we hold about you;
  • correction or completion of inaccurate information;
  • deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing;
  • withdrawal of consent;
  • a copy or transfer of eligible information; or
  • correction or removal of personal information contained in a business listing.

Send requests to support@clasicloud.com. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Some information may be retained where required by law or necessary for fraud prevention, disputes, security or legal claims. You may also complain to the applicable data-protection or consumer authority.

If the GDPR applies to you, these rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and a complaint to the supervisory authority in your country. We will generally respond within one month, subject to permitted extensions for complex or numerous requests.

14. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for adults and is not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly invite children to create listings, sell products or make purchases. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

15. Third-Party Links and Seller Sites

The Platform may link to third-party or seller websites. Their privacy practices are independent of ClasiCloud. Review their policies before providing information.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in services, technology or law. We will post the revised Policy with a new date and provide additional notice where required.
