Government First Grade College, Krishnaraja Pete

The Government First Grade College, a co-educational Institution, was established in Krishnarajapet (Mandya Dist) in1987 with Arts and Commerce to meet the educational requirements of rural students to provide undergraduate education. The college made its humble beginning with 87 students. It has grown from years to years and now the college has started science, management and social work courses and also new combinations in B.A course. The college has also started Post graduate courses in History, Political Science, MSW and chemistry from 2008-09. The college was assessed by the NAAC and accredited with B grade from the academic year 2004 - 05. Now the college is ready for re-accreditation and hence the college has prepared a comprehensive self-study report for the purpose of re-accreditation.
