Government First Grade College, Sadalaga

The college campus is stretched over 5 acres of land at Sadalaga. With the assistance of Dept. of Collegiate Education, Govt. of Karnataka under NABARD Scheme the college construction work is in progress. Temporarily the college is located in the Govt primary school campus. Rs. 25 lakhs worth of building is constructed by KHB and handed over to us. Further under UGC One-Time Catch-up grant Rs. 1 Crore is sanctioned for the construction of an independent college building and as a part of it Rs. 25 lakhs is already released and construction work is completed.

The Department of Collegiate Education has sanctioned Rs. 1 Crore for the Construction additional classrooms which are under construction by RITES Agency. Recently during the year of 2013-14 the Department has also sanctioned another Rs. 81 lakhs to construct additional classrooms and Laboratories. The work will be shortly undertaken by The Land Army.
