Government First Grade College, Sedam

This college was established in the year 1985 to meet the educational needs of this border taluka of Gulbarga District of Hyderabad Karnataka Region. To start with the college was located at the Govt. junior College Building Sedam. After ten years the college could get its own independent building in the heart of Sedam Town near the Mini Vidhan Soudha. Today the College has become a leading education institution in this developing region of Hyderabad Karnataka. It has many achievements and got an appreciation from the Government for its outstanding performance during 2001-02. It has all the courses Arts, Science and Commerce faculties. From this academic year Post Graduate Courses : (MA) in Economics and Political Science have been started. Our focus is on the overall development of the student’s personality and make them saleable in the job market and to serve as the best citizens of the country.
