JVL Laboratories Inc. is a leading contract manufacturer of Personal Care Products located in the southeast region. JVL Laboratories can custom-develop personal care product formulations ranging from lotions, shampoo’s, conditioners, general styling products and anything in between.

JVL Laboratories was established in 1997 and is headed by Jesse Tovar, the company’s President and CEO. Jesse has over 30 years of experience in the industry and is one of the leading experts in private-label personal care product development. We are located in Phenix City, AL and have over 200 full-time employees committed to providing our clients with the highest level of quality and support throughout the manufacturing process.

Our facility features our very own research and development lab equipped to provide clients with the guidance necessary to ensure our customers formulations not only meet, but exceed product stability, consumer safety and regulatory requirements. Our lab performs in-house physical specifications testing to match customer requirements as well as performs microbial testing of all incoming raw materials and formulations produced on-site.

Our facility features a 50,000 sq. ft. filling/packing area with 11 production lines, a 45,000 sq. ft. blending area equipped with an array of tanks ranging from 6,000 to 24,000 Lb vessels, over 80,000 sq. ft of warehouse space for packaging materials, 25,000 sq. ft of temperature-controlled storage for raw materials and temperature critical ingredients and over 50,000 sq. ft of space dedicated for both shipping and receiving.

Product Formulation and Development : JVL can custom formulate and develop almost any kind of health and beauty product (excluding OTC formulations). Unlike most other contract manufacturers, our formulation and development fee structure are unique to say the least. JVL offers a much more affordable approach to formulation development which allows for our customers to not worry so much about the typically high costs associated with formulation development.
