Mahatma Phule College of Education, Akluj

Mahatma Phule College Of Education, Akluj is one of the reputed branches of Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Akluj which was established by Late Shri. Shankarravji Mohite- Patil soon after the independence i.e. 23th June 1948. The Institution started with 11 students in 'Vijay Vidyarthi Vastigriha' Flourished into 72 branches. He had to leave his schooling because he had no money for fees on std.VII. It was tha aspiration to establish his institution. Nowdays courses from pre primary to university level & professional courses are run by the institution ensuring the quality.Our college is established in September 1990. It is situated near religious tourist place Pandharpur.

The NAAC autonomous institution of the UGC gave us opportunity to qualitative development of the college providing various parameters prepared with the NCTE regulating & monitoring body of teacher education institution.The initiative has been taken to assess and accreditate the educational institutions in Indian context.This will provide the institution opportunities to enhance quality, to know strengths and weakness in them.
