Medical Institute of South Georgia

The Medical Institute of South Georgia, Inc also known as MISG is a nonprofit health education training institute formerly known as Ycarte' Health Career Center a for profit institute. Established originally in 2006 by its founders Dr. Tracy McClelland and her husband, Leroy McClelland an advanced practice nurse and her husband assist nurses with further advancing their careers in nursing. Over the years the school has evolved and expanded its scope of service providing. The Institute now offers both Certificate and Diploma courses for its health career programs. MISG has both school and program approval through the Non-Public Post Secondary Education Commission a unit of the University System of Georgia.

Our goal is to create a more individualized experience for each students journey from enrollment to job search. Our team at the Medical Institute provides academic guidance and support to students so you never feel alone. Our students have access to resume and interview coaching, as well as job search assistance.
