About Mobile Symphony Orchestra
The Mobile Symphony, now presenting its 15th season, has gained prominence throughout the region with more than 250 concerts, world-class guest soloists such as Yo-Yo Ma and Itzhak Perlman, and an education program that serves more than 7,000 students every year. The 2013-2014 season is the 14th year for Music Director Scott Speck, who was appointed to the position in 2000. Beyond his work with the Mobile Symphony, Speck is in demand with orchestras around the world.
