Prahladrai Dalmia Lions College of Commerce & Economics

Prahladrai Dalmia Lions College of Commerce and Economics is the oldest commerce college in the western (beyond Andheri) suburbs of Mumbai. It was established in the year 1972.

The Prahaladrai Dalmia Trust, the members of Lions Club of Malad – Borivli along with a number of like-minded businessmen and philanthropists, contributed towards the fund for the establishment of a commerce college to fulfill the needs of the society. Keeping in mind the ideals of the founders of the college, it initially aimed at providing commerce education to students in the vicinity, to make them self reliant and to contribute to the development of the society. Gradually the focus shifted to all round development of the youth by integrating cultural and social values.
