PVR Ltd. was incorporated in April 1995 pursuant to a JV between Priya Exhibitors Private Limited and Village Roadshow Limited, one of the largest exhibition companies in the world. PVR pioneered the multiplex revolution in India by establishing the first multiplex cinema in 1997 at Saket, New Delhi. Today, we own 46 Cinemas with 213 screens, spread over 27 different cities across the country.
