Vonlan Constructions (Pvt) Ltd was established in June 2007 as an associate company to Sanken Construction (Pvt) Ltd , which is a pioneer construction company in Sri Lanka.

Vonlan was established with a vision to be the passionate leader in the infrastructure construction industry. Its mission is to uplift the comfort of the nation by enhancing infrastructure sectors; Water Supply and Sewerage, Roads and Highways, Power Plant Construction, Sea and Air-port Construction.

The company wishes to introduce modern technologies used in the globe to infrastructure construction industry in Sri Lanka. The company aims to diversify the business scope into potential market segments in the future. Joint ventures and alliances will be formed with foreign and local partners to get the benefit of core competencies.
